travel的过去式 Planning the Trip

Traveling is one of the most fulfilling experiences in life. It gives you opportunities to learn, to discover new things, and to grow as a person. Last summer, I traveled to Europe for the first time, and it was one of the most incredible experiences of my life.

Planning the trip was both fun and overwhelming. I had to decide on the cities to visit, the sights to see, and the mode of transportation. I decided to visit London, Paris, and Rome. I researched about each city, created a budget, and booked my flights and accommodations.

London was the first city on my itinerary, and I was excited to see the iconic landmarks such as the Big Ben, the London Eye, and the Buckingham Palace. I bought the London Pass, which allowed me to visit multiple attractions at a discounted price. I also took a walking tour of the city, tried the local cuisine, and watched a theater play at the West End.

Paris was next on my list, and it was everything I imagined it to be. The city was romantic, elegant, and full of art and culture. I visited the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre Museum, and the Palace of Versailles. I also indulged in croissants, crepes, and macarons, and had a picnic at the Luxembourg Gardens.

Rome was the last city on my itinerary, and it was the perfect ending to my trip. The city was full of history, and I was excited to see the Colosseum, the Vatican City, and the Pantheon. I also had authentic Italian pasta, pizza, and gelato, and watched a live opera performance at the Teatro dell'Opera di Roma.

The trip taught me many things, and was a perfect balance of adventure, culture, and relaxation. I learned to be more independent, to be open-minded, and to appreciate the beauty of different cultures. I also realized that traveling is not about crossing off destinations on a list, but about creating memorable experiences and connecting with people from different backgrounds.

Traveling to Europe was one of the best decisions I made in my life. It opened my eyes to the world, taught me valuable lessons, and gave me memories that will last a lifetime. I hope to continue traveling and exploring new places and cultures in the future.
