清中期 白玉圆雕西洋犬赏析
白玉圆雕而成，作细犬状，头部较尖，圆目凸额，双耳下垂，机警温顺，通体雕刻细腻。玉犬身型骄健，雕刻生动传神，有“大权在握”之寓意。
犬为中国古代玉器作品经典题材，因其勇敢忠诚为世人所爱。今日推出的这件玉犬作品，线条雕刻流畅，可以窥见出清中期皇家匠人功力之深厚。北京故宫博物院藏一件卧式白玉犬。卧犬造型与艺术特征均与夲人推荐的这件白玉犬极为相似，只是姿势不同而已罢了。这或许于郎士宁奉命参与清宫设计有关。
