第15集
刘备久久得不到吕布的回音，只得引兵登城，准备与纪灵决一死战。突然得知吕布在五里坡设宴邀请刘备，刘备领关张一同前往。在酒席上，刘备惊讶地发现吕布也邀请了纪灵前来。吕布与刘备纪灵二人约定，若是射中辕门下方天画戟的小枝，则二人握手言和。吕布果然一箭射中，纪灵慑于吕布的淫威，只得引兵退却。此事后，袁术有了把吕布纳入帐中的想法。孙策将庐江太守的首级献于袁术，令袁术赞叹孙策的神勇，孙策交出兵符后，婉谢而出。山冈之上，祭拜父亲的孙策遇到了结拜兄弟周瑜，二人相拥而泣，共起大业。次日，孙策献上传国玉玺给袁术，以借兵马渡江省亲为名要回了父亲当年的旧将。袁术得到传国玉玺之后，在谄臣的怂恿之下，宣布开国称帝。袁绍大怒，听取谋士建议，准备趁诸侯妒恨之际讨伐公孙瓒，以期扩大实力，渐成霸业。而曹操恰恰相反，得到袁术开国称帝的消息后，不怒反喜。

Also Yuan Shu bellow on over the Imperial Seal while his advisor desperately tries to talk him into not doing anything stupid was hilarious. Clever advisors trying and failing to talk their masters out of doing stupid shit seems to be a common trend in this time period.

原来，曹操自从“挟天子以令诸侯”以来，属地渐广，实力大增。他早就在窥测天下，寻找最适合的吞并对象。袁术的篡国称帝无疑给曹操提供了兼并他的绝佳理由。曹操亲率大军十七万攻打袁术，在进军的路上，曹操采纳了荀彧的建议，对袁术的盟友吕布进行分化瓦解。在徐州，陈宫识破了袁术的计谋。断然拒绝了袁术提出的和亲主张，认为风险太大。吕布欣然接受了曹操假借天子之名的敕封，正式成为了徐州牧。他派刘备出兵助曹兵攻打寿春。曹操设计使军心大振，一鼓作气拿下了寿春。“仲式皇帝”袁术弃城亡命。刘备向曹操拜辞，并婉拒了曹操的邀请。曹操告诉刘备，吕布已经有了“一山不容二虎”之心容不下他，如有难，可随时投奔过来。

I love how out of all of Cao Cao's current rivals its the ones he thinks least of right now (Liu Bei & Sun Ce) that are going to become his greatest rivals in the future.

i agree with cao cao that law should be upheld no one should be given excuse because if the law is not upheld then what is the use of the law.

Idk why but I really liked that scene where Cao Cao's three advisers all came together and just talked. It kind of shows unity compared to Yuan Shao's advisers who constantly went against each other.

because in ancient china men do not cut any hair, they saw hair as given by parents, cutting hair is disrespectful to parents. cutting one's hair at that time was humiliating him. when Han Chinese was conquered by the Manchus, Manchus demanded people to adopt their custom and cut hairs, many people were executed because they would not cut their hairs

徐州城内，吕布每有设宴，陈圭、陈登父子便对吕布满口谄词，陈宫反而渐渐受到冷落。一日，陈宫猎于山野，在抓获的驿者身上搜出了曹操刘备往返的密信。吕布得知后大为愤慨，决定引兵讨伐刘备。他不顾陈宫的劝阻，令陈氏父子守城。小沛城外，陈宫设计引诱刘备出城，刘备陷于吕布的埋伏之中，三兄弟也在混战中失散。曹操大军赶到，刘备方知中了陈宫的奸计。吕布见曹操大军赶到，自知难敌，下令班师回徐州，方才发现陈氏父子已经据城为主了。吕布只得急投下邳。曹操率军到达城下，呼唤吕布，陈宫陪同吕布上城与曹操相见。

Wow that Guo Jia is a cunning one. I remember Cao Cao lamenting the fact that if Guo did not die he would not have lost the battle of Chi Bi. Kongming said the same thing about Fa Zheng when Liu Bei lost at Yiling. LOL

Cao Cao is likeable in this series, despite how ancient historical records had painted him as a villain.
His sense of humor makes me laugh every time. The actor of Cao Cao did a brilliant job. Outstanding actor.
曹操在这个系列中是可爱的，尽管古老的历史记录把他描绘成一个恶棍。
但他的幽默感每次都让我发笑。曹操的演员演得很出色，是个杰出的演员。
