in our material bassed world the Cao Cao aproach seems more serius then the aproch of Liu Bei

its one of those duality of man kind of things, Cao Cao is more like what most men are searching for power, not necessarily evil, but misguided and selfish, while Liu Bei is pretty much all the righteousness and kindness inside of each of us, the ability to look at the big picture for everybody. a hard road to walk trying to please the masses wouldn't you think?.....he is a better man than I, that is for sure
他们代表了人类的双重性。曹操像很多人一样都在追求权利。他未必邪恶，只是方向错误和自私。刘备基本上就是我们与生俱来的正义和仁慈。他能顾全大局，能不辞劳苦地为人民服务……他肯定比我更完美。

I wonder how China would be today if Liu Bei had won the 3 Kingdoms War and named a new Dynasty..
He is definitely virtuous and kind but without proper ambition, that can actually lead to a downfall of a country. In a way, it was good that Wei - Jin won because they actually had plans on how the country should be run whereas Wu and Shu were initially very passive..
of course I understand this is a different matter later on.

他的确很仁义，可是他野心不够。这将会导致国家的灭亡。从某个观点上来看，魏晋的胜利是好事，因为他们有治国的实际计划。吴国和蜀国起初就比较被动。
当然，我知道后来的情形不一样。
I am just glad that Cao Cao didn't win. I never liked the guy. I always liked Liu bei and Yuan Shao better, but my mom said that Liu Bei is an idiot and she liked CoCao best so I guess they all had good points.

Cao Cao pretty much did win though. These shows never really show just how much stronger Wei actually was than Wu or Shu.

晋朝基本上就是魏国，只是当权的家族不一样而已。
Pretty sure I could have an argument about that how that would mean ever dynasty was every other dynasty and no one actually ever changed dynasties in that sense. Having a different ruling family DOES make your state different, especially if all authority rests with them.
依你的说法，我也可以说所有的朝代都一样，从来都没有实际上的改朝换代。当权的家族不一样，国家自然就不一样，尤其是当一个家族能独揽大权时。
lol liu bei was a cunning man he was never the simplton and fool the novel makes him out to be his method of gaining power was through getting people to love him therefore they will be willing to follow him no matter what happens. Even after reading the whole three kingdoms novel i got that impression he was a master of manipulating other people.
哈哈，刘备是个狡猾的人。他从来都不是小说上说的那么缺心眼儿。他夺得权力的方法就是让人家敬慕他 ，从而不顾一切地追随他。把整本三国演义看完之后我还是觉得他是个玩弄人心的达人。
As an alternate intepretation... maybe Liu Bei realizes that his image of integrity and morals (whatever is going on in his head) is his only 'real' asset?
